Description
You can look forward to a pleasant and relaxing holiday at Vester Fælled 51 in Bork Havn. This cottage has a bright and friendly atmosphere, even with a wood-burning stove in the kitchen-dining room and a good alcove in the living room. And when you soak up the sun on the first-floor balcony, you can not only look down on the house's green backyard, but also enjoy the view of Ringkøbing Fjord, which awaits 300 meters away.
Welcome inside
The cottage's two good bedrooms and one bathroom are of course an essential part of the floor plan - but it is probably the two living rooms that will primarily form the frame for the holiday life during the day. A lovely kitchen-dining room is on the ground floor, and here you can be picky about the food and sit for a long time at the dining table over a delicious meal. This is perhaps also where you want to play cards and board games, and if it's cool outside, you can light up the wood-burning stove to raise both the temperature and the cozy atmosphere. In addition, it is wonderful to hang out in the living room on the first floor, which is equipped with soft seating furniture, a flat-screen TV and a lovely alcove.
Enjoy life outside
Out in the open, you have several lovely seating areas to choose from. The enclosed back garden is a beautiful oasis with lush border planting, a small lawn and a partially covered terrace environment: here the children can romp around while the adults drink coffee and read the newspaper - or even get up from the garden chairs to join the game. If you want to enjoy the scenic surroundings, you can go up to the first-floor balcony, because here you have a good overview of the green area and even have a view of the Ringkøbing Fjord's beautiful water.
Get up close to the local experiences
From the closed road, you quickly come down to Bork Havn's popular beach, where you can watch surfers and kayakers on the water - and of course you can also take part in the activities yourself, possibly with the help of the local surf shop, which rents equipment and organizes courses. A little further away you will find the city's second beach, which entices with its shallow and child-friendly bathing water, and on the way, you will pass the charming harbour, where you and your loved ones can stop for an ice cream or a cup of coffee. Scenic areas such as the Tipperne Bird Sanctuary and Skjern Enge can be easily reached by car or bicycle, and if you want to spend a day by the North Sea, it is only nine kilometers to Nymindegab Beach.
