If you like to spend your holidays near water and open spaces, it is obvious to take a closer look at this cozy holiday home. It is located just 50 meters from Ringkøbing Fjord and Bork Havn's popular surf beach, and because it is located on the front row, you can also enjoy the fjord view from both the house and the balcony.
Interior
The holiday home has been at this attractive address since 1978, when it was built as a functional holiday home on two levels. Since then, a lot has happened indoors, because the house was renovated in 2012 and updated with modern conveniences - including wi-fi, washing machine and heat pump with A/C. The balcony on the first floor has also been equipped with a glass screen, so that when you are sitting indoors in the living room, there is nothing to disturb the outstanding view of the fjord. In the living room, one of the two alcoves is arranged as a play corner for the children, while the other alcove functions as a bed for two people, and on the ground floor there is also room for four holiday guests in the double beds in two bedrooms. A nice bathroom and a spacious dining kitchen with a wood-burning stove are also located here, and from the entrance you have direct access to a small, east-facing winter garden.
Outdoor
The view over Ringkøbing Fjord is most impressive from the balcony on the first floor, because here you can look out over the surf beach and the open water - and to the north you can look over to the red buildings that are located by the city's harbor a few hundred meters away. If you want to enjoy the sunshine first thing in the day, you can move to the east side of the cottage, and later in the day it's wonderful to sit on the partially covered terrace in the west-facing garden.
Location
If you yourself like an active holiday life, it is obvious to spend a day or more surfing and sailing a kayak or catamaran. In Bork Havn, it is possible to rent equipment if you do not bring your own gear, and surfing courses for beginners are also offered. You can also swim from Bork Havn's small, child-friendly beach - and if all the outdoor experiences make your stomach growl, there are both shopping opportunities and places to eat near the city's cozy harbor environment. If you prefer to stay on land, you can set off on foot on a lovely hike, or you can rent bicycles from Feriepartner when you want to explore the scenic surroundings.
