Description
Lush nature and classic holiday house charm merge at Rævekrogen 88 by Hemmet Strand. This fine wooden house is a wonderful place to spend a holiday, because it has a comfortable interior for six people - and then you and your loved ones will even be treated to a wilderness bath on the terrace.
Welcome inside
The cottage's bathroom and three bedrooms are all good rooms with a nice atmosphere, but it is quite a given that the living room is where you will spend most of the waking hours of the day. It is a lovely living room with rustic wooden walls, a vaulted ceiling and skylights – as well as large glass sections that invite the green lushness of the natural grounds inside and make it easy to use the terraces. A wood-burning stove contributes to the cozy atmosphere: if you and your loved ones are on holiday outside the summer season, it's wonderful to sit near the crackling heat while you play board games or enjoy a sumptuous meal. You can prepare the food in the open kitchen, and here there is everything you need, regardless of whether you are making a light summer salad or a round of real comfort food.
Enjoy life outside
On the large natural grounds, the idyll is completely turned up, when the deciduous trees are abundant with green leaves, the birds are chirping, and the summer sun is high in the high, blue sky. Here in the undisturbed and quiet hell of the holiday, you have several places to choose from, which in addition to lovely terraces also include a delicious wilderness bath. On a cool day, it's wonderful to lean back in the warm water when you return home from a cycling or fishing trip, and in the summer the light evenings become even more magical when you can sit here with those you care about the most of.
Get close to the local attractions
If you have children with you on holiday, you can quickly slip to the nearest playground, and there is also a football field in the quiet cottage area, if the whole family wants to get their pulse up with a quick football match. If you want to go for a run or bike ride, you can obviously follow the long path that stretches along the fjord all the way to Skjern Enge and to Bork Havn at the other end. You can walk to Hemmet Strand in a few minutes if you want to have a dip - and surfing is also an option on these shores, so you can safely bring your equipment. Hemmet Gammel Havn is pleasant to visit, and when you need to do the shopping, it is only a five-minute drive to Hemmet's well-stocked supermarket.
