Description
If you are into classic, Danish holiday houses and family-friendly garden idylls, you are guaranteed to like this red-painted wooden house, located on a lovely, green plot in a quiet corner of Bork Havn.
Welcome inside
The holiday house has been here on the closed wing since 1975, but several improvements have been made in the meantime. For example, the bathroom is equipped with both a hot tub and a sauna, which can turn an afternoon into a beneficial wellness moment, and with a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi connection, entertainment is provided when you and your loved ones need to completely relax. The living room and kitchen are in an open connection, just separated by a half wall, and with a wood-burning stove and garden door to the terrace, you can enjoy yourself regardless of the weather. There are three bedrooms, so you can stay up to six people, and two dogs are also welcome in the house.
Enjoy life outside
When it's not weather for board games and hot cocoa near the wood stove, but rather sunbathing and summer lunches under the open sky, the beautiful grounds are the perfect place to be. It is surrounded beautifully by trees and hedges, and the lawn almost calls for children and adults to find a ball or Frisbee rather than frolic in the green. There are play facilities for the youngest family members, and the fire pit can be a hit for both young and old – if it's not the terrace that entices you to lean back in garden chairs and sunbeds. The terrace is partly covered, and there is a barbecue available, so that dinner can obviously be prepared outside.
Get close to the local attractions
On a beautiful sunny day, it is tempting to stay at home in the summer house's beautiful outdoor areas, but it is also recommended to go out in Bork Havn's scenic surroundings. From the small harbor town, you have easy access to the Tipperne bird sanctuary, and the North Sea is just ten minutes away by car, while the beautiful landscape along Ringkøbing Fjord can easily be explored on foot or by bike. If you love surfing, kayaking or other forms of water sports, you can stay in Bork Havn, which has a popular surfing beach with good wind conditions and suitable shallow water, and angling is also an option in the area. Bork Havn also has great offers for family members of all ages, from a playground and a Viking open-air museum to mini golf, sports fields and several eateries.
