Larger purchases can be done in Sønderborg, where there is a shopping center and a pedestrian street with specialty stores, cafes, and dining establishments. Visit the museum at Sønderborg Castle and the historic area around Dybbøl Mølle with the ramparts and the history center "1864". Also, set aside a day for a visit to the amusement park UNIVERSE, a research center for the whole family.
