Cozy holiday home with plenty of opportunities for family relaxation. The house features a living room with a fireplace, a dining area, and a sofa bed. Additionally, the room is in an open connection with the kitchen. There is a bedroom with a double, a room with bunk beds (a total of 4 sleeping spaces), and a bathroom with a shower and sauna.
Outdoor
The holiday home is located in the small and charming holiday village of Østerby on Kegnæs. There are activities for the whole family here – challenge yourself with windsurfing at the dam, where there are both kite and windsurfing schools. Or bring your fishing rod along. It is near the water with a nice beach and excellent fishing opportunities, both from the coast and by boat. If you prefer more physical activities, it is recommended to bring your hiking shoes and bicycles with you, as there are some good routes for both around Kegnæs.
The holiday home has a nice covered terrace with garden furniture and a grill. There is a communal garden with the neighbouring house (SB506204) featuring various play equipment for the children, including a sandbox, a seesaw, and a swing set. Additionally, there is access to a communal "washhouse" with a dishwasher and a washing machine, a fish cleaning table, and a freezer for storing your freshly caught fish.
Location
There is an opportunity for smaller cases of grocery shopping at the nearby campsite (seasonal opening). The Kegnæs peninsula offers a wealth of opportunities for nature experiences, whether you prefer to take a walk or hop on a bicycle and explore the beautiful rural surroundings. In the summer months, the village of Skovby offers plenty of activities for tourists, or you can visit the town of Sønderborg for shopping or a harbor- and café atmosphere. Als and Sundeved are some of Denmark's most historic areas with many war memorial sites, castles, and other attractions.
