Welcome inside:When you step into this summer house, you are greeted by a sense of spaciousness and light. The house features an excellent layout that ensures every corner is utilized optimally. The high ceilings create an airy atmosphere, and the large windows allow the sunlight to dance through the rooms. At the heart of the house, you'll find the kitchen, dining area, and living room seamlessly blending into a cozy gathering spot for family and friends. Here, you can enjoy evenings by the wood stove, with the crackling flames spreading warmth, or relax with a movie or sports event on the big TV. The four comfortable bedrooms ensure everyone has their own private retreat, and the loft is perfect for children. Two lovely bathrooms make morning routines easy and effortless – one of which is equipped with both a spa and sauna, offering you a bit of extra luxury after a long vacation day. Additionally, a utility room provides practical solutions for handling small challenges like laundry and storing strollers, outerwear, and shoes.
Enjoy life outside: Outside, adventure awaits. The large and sturdy tipi, which can accommodate up to 10 people, offers unique togetherness and coziness. With a large fire pit in the center, you can gather around the flames, tell stories from the old days, make bread on sticks, and grill. It's just as cozy if it rains, as you sit sheltered and dry under colorful lights. The expansive lawn invites play and ball games, while the terrace that wraps around half of the house provides plenty of space for relaxation. Part of the terrace is covered, so you can enjoy outdoor life when the dew falls and regardless of the weather. Children will love the playground with a swing, slide, and sandbox, where they can spend hours having fun and playing. There is beautiful vegetation surrounding almost the entire property.
Get up close to the local attractions: This summer house is located in a scenic area in northern Djursland. The nearby beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland's unique bathing areas. Here, you first encounter a fjord-like bottom by the coast, but as you step out into the shallow water, you find sandbanks and the open sea stretching as far as the eye can see. The beach almost resembles a tidal flat, with noticeable differences between high and low tide, tidal channels, and small saltwater lakes. About 10 km from the house, you will find the cozy ferry port Udbyhøj, with a small marina and good fishing opportunities. From here, you can take a cable ferry to the Randers side, where you will be greeted by a lovely white beach with a Blue Flag and some of Denmark's cleanest bathing water. If ferry rides aren't your thing, we recommend a trip along the north coast. It’s a beautiful route, perfect for both cycling and hiking. If you desire more nature experiences, a visit to the Coastal and Fjord Center is highly recommended, as are Gl. Estrup Manor, the ancient burial mounds at Tustrup, and Scandinavia's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland. Overall, Djursland is wonderful, and if you need more, Randers and Aarhus are just nearby.
