Get Close to Local Experiences: This lovely summer house is located in a picturesque area on northern Djursland. The nearby beach at Store Sjørup is one of Djursland's most unique bathing areas. At the coast, you'll first encounter a fjord-like bottom, but as you step into the shallow water, the sandbanks open up, and the open sea stretches as far as the eye can see. The beach almost mimics a tidal flat with distinct shifts between the tides, where you can experience tidal channels and small saltwater streams. About 10 km from the summer house lies the charming ferry port of Udbyhøj, with a delightful marina and excellent fishing opportunities. From here, you can take a cable-drawn ferry to the Randers side, and upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a beautiful white beach with a blue flag and some of Denmark's cleanest bathing water. We also recommend a trip along the north coast. It's a beautiful route suitable for both cycling and hiking. If you want more nature experiences, you should visit the Coastal and Fjord Center, explore Gl. Estrup Castle, explore the dolmens at Tustrup, and experience the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, Djurs Sommerland. In general, all of Djursland is a treasure chest of experiences, and if you need more, both Randers and Aarhus are nearby.
