Fjellerup Strand is a picturesque and family-friendly holiday home area with roots in an old fishing village on Norddjursland. The beach has shallow water and a Blue Flag, making it ideal for families. The surrounding landscape is truly stunning, with small roads and trails perfect for running, hiking, and cycling through the diverse countryside.
If you're eager to explore the area, there are plenty of exciting excursions to enjoy. Visit the beautiful Mejlgård Castle or the impressive ancient burial sites at Tustrup. For thrill-seekers, Djurs Sommerland is just a 15-minute drive away, and golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at Lübker Golf Resort. Within half an hour, you can also reach Grenaa and the Kattegat Center, where sharks and penguins await, or take a trip to Randers for shopping and a visit to Randers Rainforest or the Elvis Museum.
Further south on Djursland, you'll find the charming historic town of Ebeltoft, and if you're tempted by a larger city experience, you can drive to Denmark’s second-largest city, Aarhus – often referred to as "The City of Smiles."
