The four bedrooms are like little oases, each furnished with a com­fortab­le double bed that promises a good night’s sleep. When you wake up, there’s plenty of space to enjoy your morning coffee in the bright kitchen-dining area, where you can gather the family for shared meals. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, allowing you to unleash your inner chef and prepare delicious dishes. The spacious living room, complete with a wood stove, is the ideal place to gather on a chilly evening. Perhaps you’ll play a board game, maybe read a good book, or watch a movie while the flames crackle in the stove. From the living room, you can step directly out onto the terrace, where you can relax or perhaps even take a dip in the sauna, which is con­ve­ni­ent­ly located nearby. The garden, with its shelter and bonfire area, offers a perfect setting for cozy moments under the stars.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday paradise stretches out in the outdoor area, thought­ful­ly designed for you to fully enjoy life. The grounds are fenced and flat, so the children can play freely while you enjoy privacy and the beautiful nature around you. In the evening, the family gathers around the bonfire, and the roasted mars­h­mal­lows melt in your mouth as the fire dances in front of you. After a day at the beach, you can rinse off the sand in the con­ve­ni­ent outdoor shower, or perhaps take a re­fres­hing morning bath under the open sky. If you’ve been fishing, there’s a handy fish cleaning station where you can prepare your catch before lighting the grill and making a lovely holiday meal. And when your body craves warmth, the sauna awaits, where you can warm up after a fresh day in nature – or perhaps roll in the snow afterward and feel the coolness against your skin. The beach is just 700 meters from the house, where you can truly relax and enjoy life.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The area around Bønnerup Strand offers beautiful nature, peaceful sur­ro­un­dings, and access to a lovely beach. You can buy groceries at the local shop, and there are small, charming shops around the area. Scenic walks along the coast, fishing, and other outdoor acti­vi­ties await you. Enjoy lunch at the harbor, or buy freshly caught fish to take home. The harbor is bustling with activity at the beautiful marina and fishing port, and there’s an annual summer festival. You can also wash or dry clothes at the harbor for about DKK 25. The beach is one of the most child-friendly beaches, with shallow water and a sandy bottom. It’s just a half-hour drive to Djurs Som­mer­land, the largest amusement park in the Nordics, offering at­tra­ctions for the whole family. Similarly, it’s only a half-hour drive to the old market town of Grenaa. In Grenaa, you’ll find the Kattegat Centre, and from Grenaa harbor, there’s daily ferry service to the small island of Anholt as well as to Sweden. Enjoy your packed lunch at Sangstrup Klint – it’s in­cre­di­bly beautiful here, and it’s possible to find fossils and sea urchins, or explore Meilgaard and Sostrup Castle. The po­s­si­bi­li­ties are endless on Djursland.
