Description
Welcome inside
Step into a holiday home experience from 1997 - the year in which Thorkil Simonsen ended his long tenure as mayor of Aarhus and ‘Titanic’ conquered the cinema screens. Here you will find a cosy and originally furnished holiday home equipped with modern amenities such as WiFi and TV. White ceilings in the bathroom and the open-plan concept between the kitchen, living room and dining area create a light and inviting atmosphere. The house has a bathroom with whirlpool and sauna - perfect for relaxing - as well as two comfortable bedrooms with double beds. In addition, there are two more sleeping places in the loft. Your dog is also very welcome. This house is a perfect alternative to a hotel stay near Aarhus if you are looking for peace and privacy in unspoilt surroundings.
Enjoy life outside
The property is surrounded by trees and invites you to play, exercise and relax around the house in a peaceful, green setting. The terrace runs around the house and offers numerous opportunities to find a sunny or shady spot. On the main terrace, which faces west, you can enjoy the evening sun while preparing a delicious barbecue meal to round off the day together.
Get up close to the local attractions
The house is located in the idyllic area of Skæring, between Aarhus and Djursland. Just 15 kilometres away is Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark, which offers a wide range of cultural experiences. Whether restaurants, museums, parks or shopping - there is something for everyone here. The summer residence of the Danish royal family, Marselisborg Castle, is close by and the town of Skæring offers maritime charm, a child-friendly beach and cosy restaurants. If you explore Djursland, you will be rewarded with beautiful beaches, impressive ice-age landscapes and historic towns with plenty of charm to stroll through.
