Lovely holiday home at Pøt Strandby - only 200 metres to a beautiful beach

Indoors:

Just 200 metres from the water, you are welcomed to this unique and authentic log cabin made from Siberian larch wood. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the warmth and cosiness that invites you to spend time together and relax with your family. The log cabin is furnished with a spacious kitchen/dining room in open con­nection to the living room with corner sofa and wood-burning stove. There is room to enjoy a board game or two. The cabin also has two really good bedrooms with 5 beds in total, as well as a lovely bathroom with combi washer/dryer. In addition, there are also two spacious lofts with sleeping places, where there is a view of the water from one of the lofts.

The log cabin is heated with un­der­floor heating, which is sup­ple­men­ted with a heat pump with cooling and a wood-burning stove.

Outdoors:

From the kitchen/lounge there is access to the large wooden terrace, which runs halfway round the cabin. Here there is room for so­ci­a­li­sing, relaxing with a good book in the sunshine and not least cosy barbecues. The terrace is also partially covered and is perfect for pro­lon­ging the Danish summer evenings. The cottage also has a large garden with space for boats, games, ball games and bonfire cosiness. You can also enjoy the outdoor shower after a trip in the water.

Location:

Bjælkehytten is located in a cosy and popular holiday home colony, with only 200 metres to the water and a short distance to the shared play­gro­und.

A few minutes' drive from the cottage is the maritime harbour town of Ju­els­min­de, which we highly recommend. Here you will find cosy re­stau­rants, a good shopping life and a cosy marina with crab bridge, ice house and play­gro­und. Ju­els­min­de Na­tur­le­ge­park is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit, with a wealth of acti­vi­ties for both children and childish souls. You can also try your hand at a game of paddle tennis or a trip to the fine 18-hole golf course with panoramic views.

We can also recommend a trip to Legoland, which is about 1 hour's drive from the log cabin. Furt­her­more, it is only a 20-minute drive to Horsens, where you can visit Denmark's widest pe­de­stri­an street and enjoy the city's shops, re­stau­rants and active cultural life.
