We welcome you to this cosy holiday home close to a lovely beach. The house is suitable for 5 persons and a dog, so the cottage can be the perfect setting for a great holiday.

The cottage is very well main­tai­ned both inside and outside with good fa­ci­li­ties and a cosy interior. The house has entrance both from the terrace and via the entrance hall. When entering the holiday home you meet a hallway which leads to 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and the living room. The two rooms are re­specti­ve­ly a room with a good double bed and storage space, while the other room is furnished with a double sofa bed and a closet.

From the hallway you continue into the common room of the house; the lovely, open kitchen/living room. The large windows provide a good amount of light and views of the garden, which is hig­hligh­ted by the loft to ceiling. At the same time, the wooden walls create a cosy sum­mer­hou­se at­mosp­he­re in the living room, where the whole family can gather.

The kitchen has the necessary fa­ci­li­ties for preparing the day's meals. It includes a cooker, oven and coffee machine. The kitchen is not large, but fits in well with the living area, so it's easy to be together and talk with others at the dining table while cooking. Directly connected to the kitchen is the dining table, where there is plenty of space for the whole family. For the youngest members of the family, there is a highchair and cot.

The living room with a cosy sofa corner is in perfect harmony with the rest of the kitchen/living room. From the sofa you can enjoy the large windows, read a good book or turn on the TV, which has Danish, German, Norwegian and Swedish channels. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the house. In the cosy alcove in the living room there are also 2 good sleeping places, where you can retreat a little and relax in the cushions or use the alcove as extra sleeping places.

From the living room you have access to the south-facing terrace and garden.

The bathroom has a shower and lovely light tiles, which appear nicely in classic cottage style.

Outdoors
The garden sur­ro­un­ding the house is large and with sun all day. The open lawn has space for play and ball games, and the grounds are bordered by shrubs and hedges. There is a good driveway and parking space on the plot. Facing away from the road, at the entrance door is a small terrace with a fire pit that can be lit up when darkness descends and the cosiness needs to be at its best.

Exiting from the living room is a lovely south-facing wooden terrace that is partially covered. There is good garden furniture as well as lounge chairs and sun loungers, so there is plenty of op­portu­ni­ty to gather for a cosy time on the terrace or enjoy the sun in good weather. A barbecue is available, so in summer the terrace can become the gathering point for the day's meals.

Area

The holiday home is located on a closed cul-de-sac in a cosy cottage colony with a path directly to a lovely beach only 250 metres from the house. From the colony it is walking distance to Ju­els­min­de town, where all shopping and adventure op­portu­ni­ties are to be found - among other things, you can enjoy the cozy harbor en­viron­ment, or play a game of mini golf. You can enjoy an ice cream on the harbour or eat in a re­stau­rant in Ju­els­min­de.

If you really want to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the beautiful coast, we recommend walking the Coastal Path, which runs from Ju­els­min­de to Snaptun. On this hiking route you can discover the forest, sandy beaches and idyllic villages in the area.

From Snaptun you can also take the ferry to Endelave and Hjarnø, which are perfect for a day trip.

Half an hour's drive from the cottage are the cities of Vejle and Horsens. This makes it easy to get to the holiday home in Ju­els­min­de, or take a day trip to one of the larger towns with a wide range of shops and cultural life.

In addition, the house is also close to Jutland's major at­tra­ctions such as LEGOLAND and Djurs Som­mer­land, which can be reached by car within 1-2 hours.
