Holiday home by the dam to Alrø with stunning sea and fjord views

Welcome inside
The cosy living room with a wood-burning stove offers a mag­ni­fi­cent view of the sea and access to the terrace. Connected to the living room and dining area is the kitchen with dis­hwas­her. From here there is access to the terrace on the west side of the house. Bright bathroom. One bedroom with two single beds, one bedroom with a bunk bed. In addition, a large annex with two bedrooms with a double bed in each. From the two bedrooms in the annex you have a beautiful view across the road to Alrø to Lerdrup Bay and further towards Gyllingnæs and Kattegat.

Enjoy life outside
Large, spacious covered terrace facing the fjord with the most amazing view of the dam and Horsens Fjord. Enclosed terrace con­necting the covered part with a larger terrace north of the house. This terrace is fenced, which is very suitable if you have a dog. There is also a large open terrace facing south-west. In front of the annex with the two bedrooms there is also a lovely terrace. In 2021, the wooden cladding on the holiday home has been replaced and the holiday home looks very nice.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is located by the Alrø dam - the gateway to the island of Alrø, which at just under 8 km² is the largest of the three islands in the mouth of Horsens Fjord. The elongated, low island was divided in two during the Stone Age by a de­pres­sion that can still be seen north of the row of farms that stretch along the low ridge where the road now runs through the island. Alrø is known for its beautiful nature and good re­stau­rants. In the summer, a small bicycle ferry sails from the island over to Snaptun. The area around Alrø is known as a great area for windsur­fers and kayakers. In the heart of Horsens Fjord is the large city of Horsens, which is a really lovely town with Denmark's widest shopping street. Closer by is the smaller market town of Odder with a small pe­de­stri­an street and a wealth of shopping op­portu­ni­ties. Nearest grocery store: Dag­li'­Brugs­en in Gylling, 5 ki­lo­metres from the holiday home.

NOTE: The holiday home's fa­ci­li­ties are best suited for 4 people, but 6 people are welcome as there are beds for them.
