Welcome to a recently renovated (2023) and lovely holiday home in the popular Saksild Strand - close to a really nice shallow, swimming-friendly sandy beach.

The house is bright and friendly and very tasteful furnished throug­hout.

The modern kitchen has plenty of space, a dis­hwas­her, microwave, fridge/freezer and eve­ryt­hing you need during your stay. Directly connected to the kitchen is a large dining area with room for the whole family.

In the living room, a few steps up from the kitchen/family room, you can enjoy the cosy warmth of the wood-burning stove on the couch on cool days. There is direct access to the wooden terrace with sea views.

The house TV has Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian channels + Chro­mecast + and free internet speed 100/100.

The po­s­si­bi­li­ty of a good night's sleep should be present in this fine holiday home. The sleeping space is divided into 3 bedrooms, all with good double beds with com­fortab­le mattres­ses and all rooms are pra­cti­cal­ly with stylish furniture.

The holiday home has a bathroom with toilet and shower and a guest toilet.

Outside
The holiday home is located high up in the holiday home area. From the wooden terrace you have a view of the sea and the area.

There are garden furniture, sun loungers, parasol and of course a nice barbecue where you can prepare the day's meals and enjoy warm summer evenings.

The house also has a wonderful hot tub and an outdoor shower, which will surely be used frequent­ly. It isgreat to take a bath outside after a day of swimming by the sea - no matter the season.

In the garden there is a small playhouse and a bike that can be used at your own risk in its current condition.

It is also possible to charge your electric car in the driveway with a CEE plug - 16 A.

Location
The holiday home is only 300 metres from East Jutland's very best beaches. The sandy beach is shallow and very child-friendly and has a "Blue Flag".

Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries.

Only 300 metres from the holiday home you will also find Denmark's oldest minigolf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty ice cream.

The small, lovely harbour of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

If you prefer an active holiday, you can spend it by the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. From Hou there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Tunø and Samsø.

Odder is only 8 km away and offers a very lovely pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and great sights. The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Half an hour by car and you are in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, to be enjoyed and ex­pe­ri­en­ced. Here you will find Den Gamle By, Aros Art Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden.
