This lovely and bright sum­mer­hou­se offers plenty of space for cosiness and spending time together.
The gathering room of the house is the combined kitchen/dining room and corner living room with a high ceiling.

The kitchen is bright and open, so there's plenty of space to prepare all your holiday meals. It includes an oven and hob, dis­hwas­her and coffee machine. The kitchen overlooks the dining area and living room, so you can spend time together whether you're sitting on the sofa or cooking in the kitchen.

The dining table is located by large floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the garden and terrace. There's also a garden door to the west-facing terrace, so it's perfect to take your meals or afternoon coffee outside.

In the cosy living room area is a sofa, armchair and a TV with Danish, German channels. Next to the sofas is also floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. In the center of the room is a wood-burning stove that creates cosiness and warmth during the cold months. Throug­hout the house are light-colored wooden walls and floors which creates a classic holiday home at­mosp­he­re in a modern setting.

The holiday home has 3 bedrooms with closet space, windows and sloping ceilings. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has a 1 ¾ double bed and the last bedroom has two single beds. In addition, there is a loft where 2 children can sleep on single mattres­ses.

From the entrance hall and corridor there is also access to the lovely bathroom with a sunken spa bath, sauna, toilet and shower. The fa­ci­li­ties in the sum­mer­hou­se ensure a great holiday for a total of 6 adults and 2 children near Saksild.

Outdoors
The sum­mer­hou­se is located on a large, open plot in the lovely area of Saxild Strand­park. A lawn and small hedge surround the house which gives you a good overview of the area. From the kitchen/living room there is direct access to a large, partially covered terrace with com­fortab­le garden furniture. There is a parasol and barbecue, so you can spend many hours on the south-west-facing wooden terrace. From here you can also watch the children play in the sandpit and enjoy the view of the fields.

Area
Strandvænget is a newly built holiday home area at Saksild beach which has pre­vious­ly been named one of Denmark's best beaches. Saksild is also home to Strands­hop­pen, where you can rent pad­dle­bo­ards or play mini golf. On the east coast of Jutland there are many good beaches, so you can also visit Rude beach or Dyngby beach. There are good dining options nearby. Try Re­stau­rant Himmel og Hav just north of Saksild or Fru Møllers Mølleri towards Odder, where there are many locally produced spe­ci­a­li­ties. Only 10 minutes by car from the sum­mer­hou­se is Odder, where you find good shopping op­portu­ni­ties and a cosy pe­de­stri­an street with numerous specialty shops and cafés.
Strandvænget is centrally located on the east coast, and some of the most popular at­tra­ctions such as Tivoli Friheden and Den Gamle By in Aarhus can be reached in less than half an hour's drive. Legoland at Billund can be reached in 1 hour and 15 minutes
