Welcome inside
At first glance, the cottage may appear quite classic with its red-painted wooden facade and white windows, but if you notice the ground plan, it has an atypical pen­ta­go­nal shape. This certainly has an effect indoors, where the walls' angled corners and vaulted ceilings create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly cozy at­mosp­he­re. There are three good bedrooms with sleeping ar­ran­ge­ments for six people, and the largest of the two bathrooms is beau­ti­ful­ly equipped with both a hot tub and a sauna. When you’re not unwinding here, it’s de­light­ful to sit in the living room, which offers a wood stove, stylish fur­nis­hin­gs, and large windows that invite generous amounts of daylight inside. A two-sided kitchen is in­te­gra­ted into the room, allowing cooking and easily become part of the shared cozy holiday’s projects.

Enjoy life outside
On the 2650 m² large natural plot, there is shielding ve­ge­ta­tion and a gravel driveway, and a well-main­tai­ned lawn invites to water fights, frisbee, and soccer. The children can also enjoy swinging, sliding, and playing in the boat-shaped sandbox, and when you all want to gather for a nice lunch or a delicious dinner prepared on the grill, you can settle down on one of the terraces. Paving stones spread around the cottage, offering several lovely spots to sit— including a covered area if you dream of sitting outside late into the evening while dusk slowly settles in.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The cottage is nicely peaceful on Gertrud Rasksvej and is also con­ve­ni­ent­ly close to Småfolksvej, which connects Kongsmark with Lakolk. In other words, you can easily drive from Rømø’s east side to the west coast whenever you want a quick dip in the sea or wish to spend an entire day on the beautiful, wide sandy beach. In Kongsmark, you live close to Kirkeby Tree plan­ta­tion, where you’ll find a good chil­dren's play­gro­und, an idyllic area with a small lake, and many excellent trails to explore on foot or by bike. At Rømø's southern end, you will find Havneby, which has a good selection of re­stau­rants and shops—including a fis­h­mon­ger by the harbor, if you feel like enjoying Rømø shrimps and smoked mackerel for your cottage lunch.
