Welcome inside
With space for 8 people, this lovely, bright, and cosy house on Samsø is perfect for gathering family and friends. The house is char­m­ing­ly decorated with exposed beams, beautiful pane windows, and original details, creating a warm and inviting at­mosp­he­re.
The kitchen is spacious, allowing you to prepare holiday meals while enjoying views of the garden and fields to the west. The dining area is in the same space, so you can spend many pleasant hours together here. The kitchen features many fine and original details, including a wood-burning stove and a beautiful built-in cabinet.
In the two living rooms you can relax together, but you can also retreat to one living room in front of the fireplace with a good book, while games and fun can take place in the other. On the ground floor, in addition to the kitchen and living rooms, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are furnished with double beds, windows facing the garden, and storage space. You are sure to get a good night's sleep here. The two bathrooms provide extra comfort when up to 8 people are staying in the house. The utility room also offers an ad­di­tio­nal freezer and storage space, which is a practical help on your holiday.

On the first floor, there’s a large living area and two more bedrooms. The sloping ceilings add extra coziness, while the large windows allow in plenty of light and offer beautiful views. One bedroom has a double bed and ample storage space, where you can also enjoy stunning views to the south over fields and trees. The other bedroom has two double beds, making it ideal for the little ones. The living area is furnished with com­fortab­le sofas and a TV, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of ad­ven­tu­res.

Enjoy life outside
The large garden is an oasis, with fantastic views over the fields to the west. You are sur­ro­un­ded by Samsø’s nature right outside the door, and you can enjoy total privacy here. In the garden, you can relax in the outdoor furniture around the house, always finding a spot with shelter, sun, or shade. You can also settle into a deckchair with a good book and simply enjoy the tranqui­li­ty.
The garden invites play and acti­vi­ties for both big and small. A paved terrace runs around the house, and on the east side of the house is a sheltered terrace. There are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties for both play and re­laxa­tion around the house, and it’s easy to enjoy your meals outdoors when the weather allows it.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Østerby is one of Samsø’s charming villages, where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the authentic island at­mosp­he­re with fine half-timbered houses and a village pond. From Østerby, it’s only 2 ki­lo­me­ters to the family-friendly Sælvig Bay, with a lovely sandy beach and shallow waters. Cycling offers the op­portu­ni­ty to explore all the best Samsø has to offer, from rides through the rolling landscape to visits in idyllic villages – there are plenty of ex­pe­ri­en­ces close at hand.
Tra­neb­jerg, the largest town on Samsø, is just 4 ki­lo­me­ters away, with shopping and dining op­portu­ni­ties. In the charming harbor town of Ballen, summer brings vibrant life and excellent re­stau­rants. You’ll also find one of Samsø’s most popular beaches here. In northern Samsø, don’t miss exploring Nordby Bakker. Here, you can take beautiful walks through the rolling glacial landscape and enjoy views over the Kattegat.
