House-ID: 20141We look forward to welcoming you to this fantastic holiday home located in the hills of Nordby. Here you get a the opportunity to stay in the middle of the beautiful nature of North Samsø with a spectacular view of the sea.
Welcome inside
The holiday home was originally built with timber from Brattingsborg forest and the closed shipyard in Ballen, as well as stones from the beach. Since then, the house has been renovated so that today it has all of the modern facilities, but the unique and cosy holiday home atmosphere has been preserved.
The living room and gathering room are in the original building, with the dining table placed by the windows so you can enjoy the stunning sea views while you eat, drink a glass of wine or play a game. There's also a cosy corner with a comfortable bench and chairs where you can sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book or take a nap. Of course, there's also the option to switch on the TV. In the same room is also the original kitchen, which is still in use. Here you'll find a hob, oven and extra table space for preparing meals.
A staircase from the living room and dining area leads up to an open-plan first floor. Here you'll find three beds that perfectly fit the house and the decor. Above the stairs is also a desk where it's ideal to sit and concentrate.
From the main entrance and living room, there is access to a second kitchen and dining table space. This kitchen provides extra space for meal preparation and makes the house spacious for up to 6 guests. You can stand over the sink and enjoy the stunning views of the hilly landscape, and a door from here leads directly to a west-facing terrace, making it easy to take meals outside.
The kitchen also opens onto a covered east-facing terrace, so you can easily find a sheltered or sunny spot outside.
An additional room from the kitchen provides another cosy living space. Here is also a great place to sit down and relax, and via the double patio doors, you can easily access the north-west-facing terrace or let nature come all the way inside. This is also where you'll find the toilet and shower, made in the same consistent, cosy and functional style. Another staircase leads up to the second bedroom with three beds. The view from this cosy bedroom is top notch, as the windows provide a fantastic view of Nordby Hills and let in plenty of light.
This holiday home is a very special and charming house with history, plenty of space for up to 6 guests and a fantastic location. You can look forward to a holiday here.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is located on a large plot below the highest point of the island with a stunning view. The house is completely secluded between trees and the hilly landscape. In front of the house is a spacious lawn, which preserves the view and at the same time it is possible to sit out here and enjoy the view from the table-bench set.
The house has two terraces, one facing north-west, so it's perfect to enjoy the sunset here. The other terrace faces east and is sheltered behind the house, so you can sit outside even if the sun has set or if the sun is exceptionally not shining over Samsø.
From the house there is a path leading directly down to the beach, but the public path down from the Ballebjerg tower can also be used to reach the beach. A private gravel road leads down to the house, but apart from the neighbours there is no traffic on the road, so peace and quiet and great nature experiences are guaranteed.
