Description
Close to the cosy and coastal Høve forest and to the lovely bathing beach here by Sejerø Bay you have the holiday house area Asnæs Indelukke. This is a very good base for an active holiday in Odsherred. The Asnæs Centre with a wide selection of amenity shops and special boutiques is not far away. The undulating Ice Age landscape is right at your doorstep with Høve Strait and Veddinge Hills, providing fine possibilities for bicycle and walking routes plus fantastic views of the landscape.
Welcome inside
The charmingly furnished holiday house with pine wood floors and walls has big windows with good incident light and a view to the garden. From the living room as well as from the dining room you may enjoy sitting down and enjoying the garden views through the windows. By the coffee table there is plenty of room for a cosy family board game. You may also enjoy doing a jigsaw puzzle together by the dining table or enjoy a nice meal while making plans for tomorrow’s activities.
Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen a stable door is leading to the covered terrace with a solid white table/bench setting, where you will probably be consuming all meals. You may also settle down by the garden table on the lawn, where you can sit undisturbed, surrounded by twittering birds, enjoying the beautiful tall trees on the plot and maybe spotting a squirrel or a deer.
Get close to the local attractions
If you want a really good family event, we at Feriepartner Odsherred recommend you to go to Odsherred Brandmuseum (=fire brigade museum) in Asnæs that, with 28 old fire engines, houses the biggest collection in Denmark of old fire engines. Here the children may jump up and try to sit behind the wheel in several of the old fire engines in the museum, and it is also possible to get a ride in an old fire engine. The museum, run exclusively by volunteers, houses exhibitions on 2000m2, spread on three halls. Other than the vehicles, there is an extensive collection of old fire material, over 1000 model cars and much more. We can also warmly recommend climbing the hill to the Esterhøj Stone and enjoying the breathtaking view of Sejerø Bay all the way to Sjællands Odde.
