Cosy holiday house close to nature area and bathing beach

The holiday house is located in the big holiday house area Lyngen at Sejerø Bay, with a short walk to the beach by the nature area Korev­ler­ne. Here the area offers good paths for jogging, cycling or just walking. At Lyngen there are many eating places from cafés and fastfood to re­stau­rants and stre­et­food besides ice cream stalls, crazy golf and other acti­vi­ties. With the vicinity to the forests Ellinge Ind­heg­ning, Høve Skov and Jyderup Skov there are great po­s­si­bi­li­ties for cycling, walking or mushroom hunting in your close sur­ro­un­dings. Par­ti­cu­lar­ly Sjællands Odde offers many good fishing spots for anglers.

Welcome inside

The living room of the house is placed in the middle, between dining room and the open kitchen, so while some family members are relaxing on the sofa with chaise longue or laying the table, you can turn on the built-in oven and make ready for tonight’s roast. You may also sit down for a talk on the bar stools by the kitchen counter during the pre­pa­ra­tions. From the dining table you can look out to the garden from the big window settings and maybe open the door to the terrace.

Enjoy life outside
On the big terrace you have the choice to sit either in the shade under the cover or move out into the sun and relax in one of the deck chairs or in the hammock. The children can play in the sandbox or take a tour in the swing, and on the plot you can also have a ball game or play with the garden toys that you brought.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions
We at Fe­ri­e­part­ner will recommend you to go for a hike on the Ridge Trail. It is a 7km long foot path from the shelter site in Veddinge to Dutterhøje by Asnæs, where you will be passing the biggest burial mounds and get the best panoramic views of the landsca­pes.

The Ridge Trail is based on the Odsherred Arches, three cha­ra­cte­ri­stic and unique ge­o­lo­gi­cal for­ma­tions. The Odsherred Arches were created during the last Ice Age (17.000 before the present time) and display a series of landscape types, created by the edge of a glacier. This first leg is following the ridge Vejrhøjbuen with bre­ath­taking views of the Sejerø Bay as well as the Lam­mefjord. The landscape around this 7km long leg contains a unique com­bi­na­tion of landsca­pes and history that you may dig deeper into on the four break spots along the route.
