Architect-designed holiday home with beautiful outdoor areas in quiet surroundings
House-ID: 1165Bright, airy, and incredibly lovely – this modern holiday property can be briefly described this way. The house is part of the architect-designed holiday village at Enjoy Resorts Rømø, located right by Rømø Golf Club and within a short walking distance to the center of Havneby.
Welcome inside
The holiday home, specifically a thatched townhouse from 2007, has an excellent layout of 112 m² spread over two floors. On the ground floor, the kitchen and dining area are combined into a large and inviting living space with flowing sunlight and stylish furnishings. While you enjoy cooking or gather around the dining table, you can relish the warmth and glow from the built-in fireplace—unless the weather calls for letting fresh air flow in through the patio door. You can also go upstairs to relax in the lovely lounge, which features a vaulted ceiling and a huge south-facing window section. One of the sofas is a double sofa bed, so it can easily serve as an extra sleeping area at night if the double beds in the house’s two bedrooms are not enough. The house also includes a bathroom, which is just as well-appointed as the other rooms.
Enjoy life outside
When the weather is nice, you have several delightful outdoor spaces to choose from. The south-facing terrace extends from the kitchen-dining area, making it perfect for moving breakfast and lunch outside—and for preparing dinner on the grill under the open sky. It is also advisable to move outdoor living to the large balcony on the first floor, which is also south-facing and therefore wonderfully sunny.
Get up close to the local attractions
The house is very close to the golf course, so you can quickly pop over to overlook the open landscape—and the view may even inspire you to play a round on the spectacular 18-hole links course. On the other side of the golf course lies the Wadden Sea, and it is recommended to take a walk along the dike towards the unique nature area, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The landscape changes depending on whether it is high tide or whether the tide has receded, revealing the seabed, so there is always something new to see. A visit to Sønderstrand, which is one og Northern Europe's widest sandy beaches and a great place for blokart and other forms of wind sports, is also recommended. If you feel like a bite to eat, you can stroll into Havneby’s restaurants or buy fresh fish down at the harbor.
