Beautiful spacious holiday house on a fantastic plot with shelter and tree top cabin

This stunning house, located by the bird sanctuary Hov Vig, invites to a great holiday with open air acti­vi­ties and re­laxa­tion.

Interior
The house contains 3 good bedrooms, all with double bed and one of them with a bunk bed as well. In one bedroom there is a TV and DVD player and a lot of DVD’s at your disposal. There is a spacious L-shaped living room with wood burner, heat pump and a big dining section where the entire family can gather for meals and games. The light, open kitchen has a washing machine as well as a dis­hwas­her, and from the living room there is access to the huge wooden terrace, raised above ground level and with a view of the sanctuary. Deer are frequent­ly crossing the plot, and you find a swing, a tree top cabin with sleeping fa­ci­li­ties and a stunning view, and also a shelter with doors and a bon fire spot. No chance for boredom here.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 2500m from a wonderful sandy beach. The area is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape. Like a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge, around the lovely Dybesø Lake or a visit to the bird sanctuary Hov Vig. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs, while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the small cosy ferry to Hundested. Rørvig offers many really good re­stau­rants, and during summer, the popular flee market takes place every Sunday morning. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is excellent shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and art works. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for the children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day at the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.
