Lovely holiday house close to Rørvig and beautiful forest

In this well furnished holiday house you have plenty of room for the entire family, inside as well as outside. The house is located within walking distance from the at­tra­cti­ve village Rørvig and Rørvig beach by Kattegat – one of the best beaches in the country. Furt­her­more, there are good po­s­si­bi­li­ties for walks and bicycle tours in the forest Sand­flugts­plan­ta­gen.

Welcome inside

In this roomy and cosy living room with open kitchen and double-height ceiling, light walls and plenty of incident light from the windows all the way round, you may play a game of cards or maybe a board game by the dining or coffee table. At the same time you may follow the course of the sun on the spacious outdoor terrace and move outside in the shade below the porch roof on a hot summer’s day. If the youngest or oldest member of the family should need a small nap, you find peace and quiet in the other end of the house with the bedrooms.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor you may choose between several terraces, where adults and children can split up on each their terrace. Here you can enjoy a good book or just relax to the birds whistling and maybe be lucky to spot a deer or two. On the spacious plot you can play badminton, ball games, play hike-and-seek or just sunbathe.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

Not far from the holiday house you find one of the best bathing beaches in the country, Rørvig beach, at the end of Te­le­graf­vej. Here you have a parking lot, an ice cream stall as well as a lifeguard tower during the summer holidays. The beach is a wide sandy beach with child-friendly water. Right behind the dunes and the dune heath you have the forest Sand­flugts­plan­ta­gen with fine walking and bicycling paths among mainly pine trees.
At Fe­ri­e­part­ner Odsherred we also recommend you to visit the village Rørvig. Rørvig is a genuine holiday village, where the harbour is the natural stamping ground for tourists as well as locals. Every day during summer you will see hundreds of children lying flat on the jetties to catch crabs.

At the harbour you also find one of the oldest buildings in Odsherred, namely the protected Lod­sol­der­mandsgård. From here pilots have been sent out for centuries to help the ships navigate through the Isefjord and Roskilde Fjord. The old village centre presents many beautiful fishermen and skipper houses, and it is a scenic walk along the fjord on the path from the harbour to the old village centre, such as Løvstræde or the narrow end of Strædet.
