Wonderful summer residence on two levels with bathing beach on your doorstep

This mag­ni­fi­cent summer residence was built in 1929 and has been beau­ti­ful­ly renovated and well main­tai­ned. The holiday house is located in the peaceful and very at­tra­cti­ve holiday house area by Skan­se­ha­ge Bay, just north of Rørvig in the front row to your private bathing beach and with a huge fenced nature plot. Here you get grandiose nature, plenty of po­s­si­bi­li­ties for acti­vi­ties by the sea and the perfect starting point for visiting sight and at­tra­ctions in Odsherred.

Welcome inside

There is no need to fight about the three bedrooms, as they all have sea view, and you can actually lie in bed and see and hear the roaring of the waves right outside. When you get up, you can breathe in the fresh sea air from the terraces on the first floor and ground floor before going for the day’s first swim in the sea. From the first floor as well as from the ground floor you also have the front row view of the sunrise and the sea eve­rywhe­re, so it is difficult to keep your eyes away off the panorama of nature. Around the dining table by the wood burner and the open kitchen you may watch the sea all year round, al­ter­nat­ing with card and board games or just a nice con­ver­sa­tion with friends and the family, or a nice meal. You could then bring your coffee upstairs and continue viewing the bay, while the day is waning.

Enjoy life outside
With the sea right on your doorstep it is obvious to bring a canoe or a kayak, also a fishing cod could come in handy, as there is a good po­s­si­bi­li­ty for a nice catch in the deep Skan­se­ha­ge Bay and Kattegat just around the corner. Surfing and windsur­fing are also popular acti­vi­ties. The huge and fenced nature plot offers many po­s­si­bi­li­ties for games of every kind, from beach volley and croquet to beach tennis, badminton or ball games. The big terrace of the house, naturally also with direct view and access to the beach, is also tempting for sun­bat­hing or for common acti­vi­ties around the table, reading in a quiet corner or maybe just for taking a rest from the many acti­vi­ties.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

If at all you can tear your­sel­ves away from this gem of a beach residence, you have the idyllic and active village Rørvig just a short walk away. Here you have several eating places from bistro, pizza and burger to re­stau­rants and fish buffet at Rørvig Fisk & Røgeri, Bøf & Grill, Rørvig Vin & Tapas and Rørvig Kro. Several times during summer there are guided walks around the old Rørvig with stories about old houses and famous Danish artists who lived here, up to ce­le­bri­ties of the present such as football icons, actors and TV-per­so­na­li­ties, who meet every year at Højsand­s­plad­sen for the popular football match Land­lig­ger­kam­pen.
