Mag­ni­fi­cent house with all comforts and outdoor hot tub in an at­tra­cti­ve area of natural beauty not far from the maritime en­viron­ment at Rørvig Harbour.

Interior

Con­tem­porary house with 4 good bedrooms, 3 of them with double bed, the last one with a single bed. The house is ta­ste­ful­ly decorated. The lounge contains a wood burner, heat pump, TV and a bed recess and has access and a view of the front terrace. The open and light kitchen has a dis­hwas­her and access to the back terrace. There is a bathroom with shower and a superb sauna, so you can even enjoy cold winter evenings in this lovely house. The outdoor shower is equipped with hot water but only open in the summer season from May to October. On the sur­ro­un­ding wooden terrace you can enjoy the sun all day long, and deer are crossing frequent­ly in the secluded garden.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in quiet sur­ro­un­dings only 1100m from a perfect sandy beach with dunes and an adjacent forest. Rørvig is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting at­tra­ctions and fantastic event-routes in the unique landscape. Try f.inst. a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge or around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish for crabs while you shop for fresh fish, and you can also take the cosy ferry to Hundested. There are many really good re­stau­rants in Rørvig, and during summer, the popular flee market is on every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sjælland you find really good shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops selling local produce and han­di­craft art. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop Glas­Spi­ren for the children, Anneberg Culture Park with art and concerts or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day in the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.

Seal safari, seaweed safari or an evening cruise on the fjord, arranged by the local nature school, are certainly also acti­vi­ties to be highly recom­men­ded.
