Lovely house only 5 min. from fabulous sandy beach and Rørvig Harbour

This lovely holiday house invites to acti­vi­ties and re­laxa­tion in quiet sur­ro­un­dings. At­tra­cti­ve location only 5 min. from one of the best sandy beaches in the area.

Interior

Great reception room with wood burning stove, te­le­vi­sion and space for re­laxa­tion and cosiness. The kitchen is new and contains dis­hwas­her and microwave, and from here you have direct access to a dining room with view to the garden, where the deer are crossing frequent­ly. There are 3 nice bedrooms with double beds 140cm and 180cm wide and a single bed 120cm. Bathroom with shower. Beautiful well kept garden and a lovely terrace divided into a covered and an option section where you can barbecue your freshly caught fish on the big gas grill and enjoy a glass of wine from one of the fantastic vineyards in the region. Extremely well suited for adult couples as well as families with children. There is also and outdoor shower with hot water.

Location / the area

The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 1200m from a perfect sandy beach with dunes and a forest behind it. Rørvig is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred which is Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find numerous fa­sci­nat­ing sights and fantastic ex­pe­ri­en­ce-routes in the unique landscape. Try f. inst. a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge or around the scenic lake Dybesø. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs while you shop for fresh fish, and maybe you take the cosy ferry to Hundested. There are many really good re­stau­rants in Rørvig, and during summer, the popular flee market is on every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sjælland you find excellent shopping with several special shops offering local produce and art. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with workshop for children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is also worth a visit. The children will love the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland that has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children. We also recommend acti­vi­ties such as a seal safari or an evening cruise on the fjord, arranged by the local nature school.
