The classic summer house stands out in all the greenery with its red wooden facade and white window frames. Inside, the walls feature light wooden paneling and a wood-burning stove in classic summer house style, and the many windows ensure plenty of natural light. When you relax in the living room’s sofa area or enjoy a good meal at the dining table, you can gaze out at the natural plot – and you might be lucky enough to spot deer, pheasants, or other wild animals cau­tious­ly wandering by. The living room is open to a beau­ti­ful­ly mo­der­nized kitchen, while three good bedrooms are situated at opposite ends of the house. Finally, the layout includes a bathroom, which is equipped with a shower niche, un­der­floor heating, a washing machine, and a dryer.

Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to two wooden terraces where you can sit and enjoy the peace of the natural plot and its lovely plantings. One terrace is large and south-facing, making it sunny for a good part of the day. If you want to have breakfast in the sunshine, you can set the table on the other terrace, which faces east.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The location in Rømø's southern end is perfect if you enjoy living in nature close to both forest and beach. The kilometer-wide Sønder­strand is just a few hundred meters away: it’s a fantastic place for long walks, swimming in the North Sea, and even engaging in various forms of wind sports like kite buggying and blo­kar­ting. Bird ent­hu­si­asts will ap­pre­ci­a­te being close to the Stormen­ge­ne bird reserve – and in general, the birdlife is par­ti­cu­lar­ly rich and diverse in the Wadden Sea, so it’s a great idea to pack bi­no­cu­lars in your holiday suitcase. The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, providing you with an op­portu­ni­ty to ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature in a truly ex­cep­tio­nal league here on Rømø. You can also enjoy views over the water from nearby Havneby, where you can catch the ferry to the neig­h­bor­ing island of Sylt.
