For example, you can pamper yourself with both a session in the sauna and a relaxing soak in the hot tub, as the house’s two bathrooms are equipped with a sauna and a spa, re­specti­ve­ly. The latter is located on the first floor, and through the slanted bathroom window, you have a view to the beautiful coastal landscape. As a con­ve­ni­ent, yet less visible detail, the house features un­der­floor heating in many areas, including the living room where the kitchen is in­te­gra­ted with the living area. A bay window allows extra light to fill the room, and the wood-burning stove is ready to spread warmth and coziness if you feel like lighting a fire. When it’s time for bed, you can retire to the three bedrooms on the first floor and the cozy loft.

Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you can step directly out onto a large and lovely terrace area. The terrace wraps around three sides of the house, providing several seating areas to choose from – even with a sea view. Com­fortab­le garden furniture and a grill are available, and while you prepare dinner, the children can easily head over to play at the holiday center’s play­gro­und.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Staying so close to the Wadden Sea, taking a walk along Rømø’s southern coast can easily become part of your daily holiday program. A walking path runs along the top of Havneby Dike, where you have a fantastic view of the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s also a great ex­pe­ri­en­ce to visit Sønder­strand, known as one of Northern Europe’s widest sandy beaches. This makes it suitable for various forms of wind sport, such as blokart and kite buggying, with rental equipment available for both. Sønder­strand is also a lovely place to swim in the North Sea – al­ter­na­ti­ve­ly, you can drive to the mainland, where you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
