Stunning nature awaits just outside the door when you spend your holidays in this beautifully modernized summer house on Stagebjergvej in the southern part of Rømø.

Welcome inside
With its thatched roof, dark gables, and white facades, the summer house fits beautifully into the green surroundings. The architecture is classic, nicely maintained, also inside, where the latest renovation took place in 2011. As part of the modernization, a heat pump has been installed to ensure fresh air and a low heating bill. The majority of the square meters are dedicated to the living area, which consists of a living room and kitchen in an open layout. A large south-facing window invites the beautiful view and sunlight indoors, and in the middle of the room is a wood stove, perfect for chilly evenings when you enjoy a delicious dinner at the dining table or a good movie on the flat screen. The layout also includes a bathroom equipped with a shower niche and a washing machine.

Enjoy life outside
The living room's garden door provides direct access to a lovely south-facing terrace, where you can lounge in the garden furniture and enjoy sunshine, birdsong, and holiday tranquility. By the outbuilding, you also have a smaller, partially covered terrace that is east-facing, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy the first sunrays of the day. The heather-covered nature plot measures 2.500 m², allowing plenty of distance from neighbors and space for everybody to unfold.

Get up close to the local attractions
Vesterhede is a fantastic place to spend your holiday—not least for nature lovers who can easily venture out on the small gravel roads and explore the varied landscape. Not far from the house lies Vråby tree plantation and Stagebjerg, which is one of Rømø’s highest viewpoints. You can also take a trip to Sønderstrand, known as one of Northern Europe's widest sandy beaches and a perfect spot for engaging in various wind sports. Generally, it is recommended to head out to Rømø’s coasts to get a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique tidal area. When it’s time for shopping, there are both a local grocery store and a bakery nearby, and it is about 2.5 kilometers to the village of Havneby, which offers a supermarket, a fish shop and a variety of good restaurants.

On the Wadden Sea island Rømø a unique landscape is waiting to be explored, especially the wide sandy beaches, that provide unforgettable memories. Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
