The central gathering point of the house is the living room, which is a de­light­ful room with vaulted ceilings, light floors, and a large gable window. The kitchen is ef­fi­ci­ent­ly in­te­gra­ted with the living room—so while you’re watching a movie in the sofa area or playing cards at the dining table, it’s easy to check if the lasagna in the oven is ready.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
If you want to keep the whole family active, there’s a table tennis table and a pétanque court on the grassy area, as well as free access to a tennis court and an ar­ti­fi­ci­al turf field for soccer and ba­sket­ball. If you enjoy golfing, it’s just a few hundred meters to Rømø Golf Club, where you can play a round on the beautiful 18-hole links course. The golf course is situated right by the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the world’s most important wetland areas. The natural sur­ro­un­dings here on Rømø are very im­pres­si­ve: for example, can you visit Sønder­strand to fly kites on the wide sandy beach and swim in the North Sea. You can also go to Høstbjerg, Rømø’s highest point, which is a perfect spot to enjoy views over the island.
