On the quiet Gl. Skolevej in Kongsmark, this cozy summer house welcomes you to a wonderful and relaxing holiday. The layout is well-suited for four people, and outside there’s space to sunbathe on garden furniture and play ball on the large green plot.
Welcome inside
The summer house has a pleasant atmosphere, and although there’s likely much you want to see and experience on Rømø, it’s tempting to enjoy cozy indoor moments with good books, board games, and movie nights in front of the flat-screen TV. In the corner living room, there is both a dining table and a sofa area, and in the kitchen, you will also find a small seating area if you prefer to have breakfast or enjoy afternoon coffee there. Moreover, this allows your partner to keep you company while you cook – unless you both help each other chop salad and stir the pots. There are two bedrooms, conveniently located close to the bathroom.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to a lovely terrace, which, with its south-facing orientation, is wonderfully sunny for a large part of the day. The terrace is partially enclosed by a fence and comes equipped with garden furniture, loungers, and a grill, so you and your loved ones can make the most of the sunny hours. On the north side of the house, there is a garage for your car, should you choose not to park it in the driveway. If you have children with you on holiday, or if you’re a bit of a playful child yourself with a penchant for garden games and football, it’s great to have ample space to frolic on the lawn.
Get up close to the local attractions
Gl. Skolevej ends in a cul-de-sac, ensuring that the immediate surroundings are calm and serene. Right by the house, you can follow a path if you want to go for a little walk – for instance, to Rømø’s excellent butcher, which is also located here in Kongsmark. The charming Café Hattesgaard is definitely worth a visit, and close to the house, you’ll also find Nature Center Tønnisgård, which organizes guided tours and activities – including island tours and Wadden Sea expeditions. If you want to explore nature on your own, you can take delightful runs and bike rides in Kirkeby Plantation towards the viewpoint Spidsbjerg, and a dip in the North Sea from Lakolk Beach is almost obligatory when the weather invites it.
