Enjoy life outside
The terrace area wraps around three sides of the house, making it possible to find a sunny spot at any time of day. To the east, part of the terrace is covered, and on the west side, you can sit com­fortably sheltered by the fence and shed, should the wind blow in from the sea on any given day. The garden furniture is com­fortab­le, and both an umbrella and a grill are available so you can make the most of the summer days and long evenings—when you’re not enjoying the good weather on the beach just a few hundred meters away.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the summer house, it only takes a moment to walk through Lakolk’s cozy de­ve­l­op­ment and out to the open dune landscape that stretches towards the beach. If you’ve never been to Rømø’s west coast before, you’ll likely be impressed when you reach the wide, white sandy beach where cars can drive right up to the water’s edge, and people fly colorful kites in the wind. When the weather permits, you can surf the waves of the North Sea, and the shallow, clear water makes it a wonderful swimming beach. At Lakolk Center, you can take care of your shopping, order the biggest ice cream of the summer, or find a souvenir to take home as a lasting memory.
