Description
You can start looking forward to your holiday in this cozy wooden holiday home in Toftum. It is equipped with lovely terrace areas and a swing set on the large natural plot—and these are just a few of the features that make it an ideal vacation spot for both young and old.
Welcome inside
The holiday home is a charming and classic example with a light wooden facade that fits well into the picturesque surroundings. Indoors, the atmosphere is also top-notch, with a vaulted ceiling and wood-paneled walls, and the many windows provide a nice influx of light from several directions. In the living room, a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen is integrated with the lounge, where you can enjoy cooking, play board games, read good books by the wood stove, and watch movies on the flat-screen television. As the holiday comes to an end, you can look forward to a good night's sleep in the three bedrooms—after making a stop at the bathroom to brush your teeth, of course. And when you’re comfortably nestled under the covers, you can enjoy thinking about the lovely holiday activities and adventures that tomorrow will bring.
Enjoy life outside
Whether the day’s agenda is relaxation or excursions, you can start by having breakfast on the east-facing terrace. If you prefer to continue your outdoor living, you can later move to the south-facing terrace, which is large, partially covered, and completely enclosed.
Get up close to the local attractions
The small, closed road Froidal is located in Toftum in the northern part of Rømø. From here, it is not far to the National Museum's Kommandørgård, and the beautiful natural surroundings include the flat marshlands in Juvre, Bolilmark's beautiful heath landscape, Tvismark Plantation, and the viewpoint Høstbjerg, which, at 19 meters, is one of Rømø's highest points. A few kilometers away is Lakolk Strand, a lovely child-friendly beach with shallow water and white sandy bottom. If you're more in the mood for swimming and playing indoors, you can drive over the Rømø dam and into the mainland, where you have free access to the water park in Skærbæk Center. On the way there, remember to look out the car windows and enjoy the view, as the dam offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
