Besides the obvious reasons for spending the Christmas holidays away from your normal routines and habits, there are several completely practical aspects to spending the holidays in a holiday home. Forget about worrying about driving home – there is plenty of room for everyone, and especially those who want to stay and sleep, so you don't have to drive home after the festivities and Christmas meals.
In between all the celebrating, when everyone is full and happy, why not go for a long walk by the water or in the forest around your holiday home and enjoy your time together in natures beautiful surroundings.
Afterwards, you can return home with red cheeks for a glass of traditional Danish gløgg (mulled wine) or hot chocolate and curl up in front of the fireplace with Christmas cookies and sweets while the kids play or watch movies. It just doesn’t get much better than that.
