Cycling holidays in Denmark

You will discover many cycling routes that criss-cross of Denmark. From north to south and east to west. Long and short, difficult and easy. In total, you will find more than 12,000 kilometres of marked and mapped bicycle routes.

The routes follow small roads where the traffic is quiet, undisturbed forest roads, especially landscaped bike paths, bike lanes and unused railway tracks. The majority of cycling routes are on paved roads.

The law requires bicycles to be equipped with:

Bells – white reflector front – red reflector on the back – Yellow reflectors on the pedals – Yellow reflectors on the spokes or reflective tape on the wheels.

When it is dark, turn on the bicycle lamps. And it's nice if you lock the bike, so you can park it and go exploring your destination.
